Very quick black printing. I launch "Image Capture", which used to work beautifully and lexmark x5470 scanner change it for the world! Apple fires up the scanner in the printer and an image of what I want to scan appears on image capture. However, the "Scan" button does not turn black to press and complete the job for saving!

It's not too bad in fax and copy modes, but when printing photos from memory cards it's downright arcane and some of our testers ended up with rather different sizes and layouts of prints than they were lexmark x5470 scanner. We wouldn't hesitate to send the letter, though perhaps not the PDF, to a client, as long as the latter wasn't a magnifying-glass maker.
